Beko DCSC821W Tumble dryer electrics keep tripping when I turn it on

by / Wednesday, 02 October 2019 / Published in

The water tray was full, I emptied it but when I went to put back on it kept tripping electrics. I pulled machine out and there was water all at the back, tilted the dryer and lots and lots more water came out the bottom, I’ve let it dry out, tried it again but it keeps tripping still.

The problem you are having with your Beko DCSC821W Tumble Dryer sounds like the machine is tripping the electrics causing your dryer to go to Earth.

I suspect that you may have water or dampness on either the motor or more likely the heating element at the rear the machine. It might be worth putting a hairdryer on these two parts to try and dry them out do not use excess heat on your Beko DCSC821W Tumble Dryer as you do not want to damage any of the components.

I have included two video tutorials to help with diagnosing the problem with your Beko DCSC821W Tumble Dryer. Although the video tutorials are based on other tumble dryers the concept is the same.

If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact me. all the best Paul.

    Hi,
my AEG Lavatherm 86280IC tumble dryer´s pump didn´t drain the water from the condenser to the water container the last time I dryed the clothes. After turning off the tumble dryer that time, I cannot turn it on again. I opened the tumble dryer and I checked the pump. The pump and a float switch was working. I found that NTC sensor EPCOS K 276 4,8k doesn´t work and maybe a heating element isn´t working too. Can you help me – do you know what parameter is the heating element supposed to have? Or what type it could be? Also, do you have another idea where the problem could be, why the dryer cannot turn on?
    Thank you for your help
