Beko KDVF100 Cooker cooling fan won’t turn off in oven
KDVF100S BEKO cooker range oven I have noticed on my cooker that the oven cooling fan never turns off unless I turn it off at the mains, but then I have to reset the time, it started a few months ago but I cannot find a way to turn the cooling fan off it used to turn off after about 20 or 30 minutes but now it runs all night unless I turn it off at the switch on the wall.

I will try and help with this problem BEKO KDVF100 Cooling fan running all the time
if your cooling fan is not turning off after you have finished cooking then there's a good chance that the thermostat that controls the cooling fan may have become faulty
if your cooker cooling fan is not turning off this can lead to excess electricity being used also it can wear the bearings out in the fan motor and cause the fan motor to become noisy or to not work at all it is always worth making sure that it turns off after 20 minutes or when the cooker gets to the acceptable level of the thermostat to disengage the motor

I have also added some exploded diagrams below with a full list of parts and some videos to assist you
- The oven will not turn on
The first thing you need to check is that the oven timer is not on auto if it is, turn it on to manual.
- No Heat in Oven
If the fan is running and the thermostat light comes on but you get no heat (or just the thermostat light on in non-fan ovens and cookers) then the probability is that the fan element or oven elements have failed.
- Electricity trips (Rcd) when I turn the oven on or grill
This is normally an element that has gone to earth, This is a well-known fault with electric ovens, the insulation breaks down in the elements and trips the RCD , best way is to stick a meter on each element and check that they have not got earth leaks on them. But this can also be a wiring fault.
- The grill element doesn't work
This would usually indicate that the grill element is faulty. Check these: Grill element, Oven changeover switch, Overheat thermostat, Main oven thermostat, if used to regulate the grill temperature.
- The oven fan is not working or spinning correctly (slow) or is noisy
The fan motor may need to be replaced see video on this also the cooling fan motor can cause same problems.
- The oven overheats and burns everything
Normally this is a simple thermostat failure which would manifest itself as this symptom.
- The oven or cooker cuts out after it's been on for a while
This is an overheating problem which can be caused by the fan motor or main oven thermostat or a faulty safety thermostat that will be causing the problem. It can also be caused by a failure of the cooling fan, where fitted, but usually these go noisy before failing, Safety thermostats are used to prevent the oven or cooker overheating and will shut the oven down.
