Beko WM6112W Washing Machine Motor not spinning when belt is on

When doing a spin the machine won't spring but if I take the belt off the motor spins. The barrel spins freely by hand.

I will try and help with this problem with your Beko WM6112W Washing Machine.

The fault you are describing is related with worn out carbon brushes. When the belt on the power the brushes give the motor is not enough to rotate the drum. You will need to take the motor out and replace the carbon brushes. On this model you will need to remove the carbons and send us picture to match them up as Beko only sells the complete motors on these. I have attached the exploded diagrams for that model in case you need any other parts for it you can find them easily
