Hoover VHV 380 Tumble Dryer runs for minute or so then stops but will keep running if on refresh
As per your videos I have checked the thermostats and heater, checked NTC sensor and reading drops as it gets warmer, can't remember figures though and finally cleaned fluff out

I will try and help with your Hoover VHV 380 Tumble Dryer fault.
If the tumble dryer keeps running on refresh but stops when drying, then this must be a heater related fault as that is the difference between the two modes you mentioned. If the thermostats and NTC sensor are tested to be ok, then it might be the heating element itself, shorting out after it heated enough to expand the metal to expose the "leak" to earth. On some rare occasions it can also be the heater relay on the pub but when those go, usually you have no heat at all

So in this case the heating element sounds like the culprit. I have added a picture of the element with link where you can order.
I've also included a few videos on how to service these machines, how to diagnose faults and how to fix the most common faults that they develop over time.
