Indesit DFG 15B1 UK dishwasher Stops half way through cycle

by / Friday, 19 June 2020 / Published in

I’ve watched your video on diagnosing error codes but the layout of the LEDs on this done seem the same as what you discribed. The drying led is solid green, the start/pause led is solid amber and the low salt led is flashing red. Please can you help to diagnose and fix? Thank you

I will try and help with your Indesit DFG 15B1 UK dishwasher fault

the first thing I would check is the heating system on this dishwasher If the machine has not actually reached temperature then there is a good chance that the heating system has become faulty. I did a video below to assist you with your repair also there is a full list of parts below and an exploded diagram to show you the layout of the machine

If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact me. all the best Paul.

    Hello
My dishwasher salt light keeps flashing , seems to start ok and it seems to be getting hot , but it then gets stuck on the fan light symbol and just stops leaving water in the bottom ? Any help would be appreciated, thank you

    Indesit dishwasher DFG15B1.

There are three solid green lights. The washing light is solid green. The drying light is solid green. The wash cycle complete light is also solid green. The salt light flashes red.

There doesnt seem to be any water getting into the dishwasher and the fault occurs after a few minutes. Occasionally we get some water go in. Wash cycle commences. After some time it drains. Then when it tries to refill so it can rinse we encounter the fault. No water getting in. And it seems to be trying to drain even though there is no water in there.

There is no problem draining when the water does manage to get in. All water is drains just fine. However we rarely get water in it in the first place.

I have replaced the water inlet valve and the air break turnbine. The problem persists.

Hi my indesit DFG 15B1 has a constant red flashing light (salt light) after around 2 minutes of switching on. Then it just stops working. I have tried cleaning the filters, filling up with salt and turning power off for 30minutes but none of these have been successful. Please can you help me

Hi Paul, I think the heater has gone on my Indesit DFG15B1, I’ve managed to take off the heater/motor unit with the help of your video (thank you). There is continuity between the two ends of the element, however no continuity when I test the contacts at the power connection point (where the cable connects to the heater unit).

What is puzzling me is the part number: PC47 306129….for which I cannot find a replacement online. Could you advise a suitable replacement that I can get hold of for this please?

    Many thanks.
