Lamona 3301 oven removal of selector switch from fascia

by / Saturday, 04 July 2020 / Published in

Hello _ I think we have defined that the issue is the selector switch but `I cannot work out how to remove it from the fascia without damaging the fascia in the process. There aren't screws as shown in one utube video. Im sorry but i only just found you on yourtube and had already bought my part from elsewhere. Can you help me with the removal of the switch. Is it a s special tool or a technique? with gratitude - Imogen

I will try and help with this problem Lamona 3301 oven

To remove the facial panel You will need to take off the two knobs the one for the selector switch and the main thermostat then you will need to remove the oven from the housing. then at the back of the facial panel, you will either find a screw on each side or there will be tabs that you need to twist, take your time and look closely once these are removed  or loosened  then you will be able to take the Chrome panel off you will find two screws for the selector switch as in the videos below, make sure you take photographs off the wiring before taking out the old selector switch as this is a common mistake there is also a full list of parts at the bottom of the page
