Would a faulty element cause the light bulb to fuse? I have a problem with the Beko OTF 22300 built-in oven where the fan is still working, but there is no heat and the bulb has blown also have you instructions for setting the timer clock

An oven specialist came round recently who changed the element as old one burnt out! Now nothing works at all !! I have limited knowledge but have checked power to terminal block -ok. Checked element with multimeter-ok Also checked interior bulb- ok Specialist now says he has no idea – can you help Tanks regards John

Thank you so much for replying. I’ve copied our correspondence in below. My oven wasn’t on at the time, I only turned the light on. Also, both the grill and the oven don’t work – do they have separate elements? An electrician is about to come round and check the elements so I’ll have the answer to that soon. I am guessing that, because now both the oven and grill and the bulb don’t work – it is something that connects these 3 together?
I’m not sure the electrician will know about this but at leas the can cross off the elements issue.

my oven tripped the electrical board, now stopped heating and I think the fan oven element has blown could you give me some help on what part I need and how to change it

Electric built-in oven
There are two elements in your cooker one is the grill and the other is the fan oven​, as you were using the oven at the time when it blew I suspect the elements have blown. I have included a video below to help you test the element and also a video on how to change the element.

I cleaned my oven today with a spray foam cleaner. Left it 30 mins then rinsed out with an old dampened towel. When I switched it on, the light came on, the grill and oven were ok although I am not convinced it heated up but when I turned it to the fan oven it tripped the circuit. I have left it to dry out for 6 hours and the same thing happened. Reset the trip and now none of the functions work, including the light. The clock on the oven is working! None of the other functions. I tried to undo the glass cover for the bulb but it’s very stiff.

Top oven works fine. Main oven when turned on nothing happens. The light isn’t coming on either. We have check the bulb and that is working fine. There’s just nothing when we turn it on, no light, no sound, no heat.
