if you are Samsung American style fridge freezer is not working correctly. there are a few common faults that may be occurring.

In the event that a Samsung refrigerator has a defrost issue, the temps inside the section will gradually rise. The frost builds up so thick the fan motor can’t pull air across the coils to cool properly.

Your fridge is actually getting warm but the freezer is cold.

this can be one of a few things. check cooling matrix for ice build up. check the fan is working correctly.

the heating element on the matrix might not be working

one of the sensors may have failed.

the freezer is not getting to temperature.

check cooling matrix for ice build-up, test the defrost element. 

check the sensors

the fridge and the freezer are both not getting to the correct temperature

check the motor is running.

if the motor is running then you may have a gas problem
