Hotpoint EG900X Cooker Oven Door Won’t Close & Allows Heat To Escape
I replaced the seal on the Hotpoint EG900X oven door believing this was the issue as it was broken.
However, the door is still not closing even though I have replaced the seal. This is a double cooker.
We watched one of your videos and it talked about the door hinge being faulty. We tried removing the hinge but it would not come out, until the latch got stuck. The hinges comes out but we are unable to release the latch. The video talked about plates inside the cooker. But with this model cooker it looks like we would have to dismantle the whole cooker in order to get inside to the plates. We wanted to know whether there is something we can do to fix this issue with the oven door or not, the cooker is in such good condition.
