BEKO DRVS 62 W Tension Spring on Motor
Hi there
We recently followed your video on how to service the Beko tumble drier and it was brilliant. Our only problem was that our motor has a tension spring and no reference was made to it in the video so we were unsure how to re-fit it. When we remove the drive belt, I presume it release the tension in the spring and it had unhooked before we noted where it had been hooked!
We put it back in what we thought was the correct location and the dryer worked beautifully for about 5 days and then the drum seized. We removed the back panels again and unclipped the spring and the drum was again able to turn freely so obviously the spring was applying too much tension. We then noticed the plastic retaining bracket on the motor was broken. So firstly, is it possible to get a spare of the retaining bracket and secondly, can you advise where the tension spring is supposed to go. I can email photos if that helps.

Hi Colin if water is pouring from the condenser then you may have a problem with the pump system and it’s not able to pump the water to the collection tray I would strip down the pump assembly and checking for blockages

Hi Joseph Double check the heating element, and also check again the front stat if the pcb is not getting the right reading it will not heat up. when you have checked that the wiring is good and ntc and heater then it might be a fault with the pcb

Hi Jane Hi jane if you have a hoover tumble dryer is not turning.The humming noise that you can hear is the motor trying to start without a good capacitor the motor will not start and you will hear a humming noise. As you say with a little bit of assistance in other words pushing the drum the
