Bosch Dishwasher SGS45E68GB/68 it seems to be over filling with water and always emptying
Dear Paul I am having problems with my Bosch Dishwasher SGS45E68GB/68 it seems to be over filling with water and always emptying.
Thanks in advance for your help Susan
Hi Susan we have a video on this problem it’s the flow meter or sometimes called the impeller Jug
Here is a link to the video Bosch dishwasher not filling correctly
My ZanussiI DW927 does not fill with water
Hi allMy ZanussiI DW927 does not fill with water can you help.
this normally sounds like a water fill problem you will first need to check the water valve is good please give me your model number to help further
Hi again I took the valve of to check it and it looked ok but after the machine has started to fill and wash my model is ZANUSSI DW927
Hi ziggy these valves are normally a problem. The electrical side is good but the diaphragms’ inside ware and the valve stops working
Here is the part you need to change ZANUSSI DW927 water valve
My Dishwasher keeps filling with water even when power is off.
My Dishwasher keeps filling with water and keeps running into machine even when power is off.... I ordered a new valve coil and fitted the valve and put it on the old body. Is this because I didn't put it in properly when I changed it around?
Hi Jerry if the appliance was filling with water before and did not stop filling, I don’t think it was the coil that was the problem it sounds like it was the valve itself: this could be caused by a few problems,
- you did not put it back together correctly
- there is grit in the water valve ‘keeping it open’
- you might have a split in the diaphragm
- the whole valve is worn and needs replacing
Why not watch this video tutorial to show you how they work

Whirlpool adg6440 dishwasher,it is tripping the rcd when i plug it in
hi,i have a whirlpool adg6440 dishwasher,it is triping the rcd when i plug it in ,plug is not wet or anything so i dont know where to look, thanks
This can be many things, i would check all these. the motor and the element these are the most common that go to earth. then i would check the wiring especially at the bottom where the door hinges, you might also have the bottom full of water from a leak on the seals or pump motors.
Bosch dishwasher SGI45E16UK/06 impeller jug problem
Hi, we have a built in Bosch dishwasher SGI45E16UK/06 which kept on filling and emptying. Diagnosed the fault as the impeller jug and replaced that today using your video. The appliance worked for around 3 minutes and then all the power went. Have changed the fuse in the plug and still nothing. There was some water under the machine so it seems there may have been a leak but no immediate signs of where and all the hose clips seemed tight enough. Any ideas, or have I killed it? Many thanks
There is a chance that when you replaced the impeller jug you might not have done the clips tight enough, if you used the old spring clips then the pipe has gone slight hard over time and the clips aren’t strong enough i would replace them with jubilee clips. If there was water in the bottom or the hose was spraying water on any of the electrics then this would cause a short. Dry the base of the dishwasher completely (use a heater for a few hours) and then try again. Hopefully you have not shorted the main circuit board if you have then it will need to be replaced or repaired.

There is either water in the bottom of the machine that is activating the float switch or you may have a problem with the impeller jug this is the part in the picture.

Bosch SMS50E02UK dishwasher error codes E24 sometimes E25
I have a bosh dishwasher error codes E24 sometimes E25it sometimes works fine for a few washes and then stoppes with error codewatched your pump replacement tutorial looks quite simpleplease advise me which pump to buy or if it could be something elseI have thoroughly cleaned the filters and cant see anything blocking the pump by it is suspectmodel numberSMS50E02UKPURCHASED ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO
The first thing you need to do is find your full model number this is normally located inside on the stainless steel at the top of the door just inside but i think it is model number SMS50E02UK/01.
if your bosch dishwasher is showing the E24 or E25 fault then this is pump problem .
You will need to take the pump out to make sure there is no glass or bits of food ETC blocking the pump but if you need to replace the pump i have put a link here for you for the correct pump for model BOSCH SMS50E02UK/01.

Hi , We have a Bosch Avantixx dishwasher SGS45A)2GB/36 which does not empty. We watched your video and took the side off to see the filling and draining and have taken a picture of the levels. Could this be a problem with the impeller that you replaced on the video. If so how much would this part cost. Many thanks
if your Bosch Avantixx dishwasher SGS45A02Gb 36 does not empty you either have a pump blown or there is a blockage in it. see videos below

Bosch Dishwasher SMS40C12GB/18 error code E15
Bosch Dishwasher SMS40C12GB/18 Hi Paul, am getting an error code E15 on said m/c, i understand it's the float mechanism at the base of the machine, do i have to remove the base to get access to this area, or can i get access to it via your tutorial for removing or replacing pump, if i have to lie the machine down on which side should i lie it? Regards Andrew Berdauskas
The first thing you need to do is take lid and side panels of this might give you access on some modes they put inspection hatch at bottom, the anti flood device is normally set of then there is a leak you will need to find what is causing this.
To assist you with this with repair on your bosch dishwasher i have put videos below
Hi Paul,Many Thanks for your prompt reply,Managed to remove the top & sides and the door panel, the base looks to be 1 piece of moulded plastic, with no access to the float mechanism, there was a bit of water in the base but i wouldn't say a lot, managed to tip it on it's back to remove the water, inspected from the front underneath the door and from the sides but could not find anything untoward, re-assembled it and the machine is now running fine, if the problem re-occurs, is there a way of getting better access on this model?

Siemens dishwasher SE 64630GB/13 not starting
Our Siemens dishwasher wasn't draining so I changed the drain pump for new one from Siemens but the dishwasher is not starting. I can hear a hum sound but no water is coming in. Model number is SE 64630GB/13. Any advise you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Drain hose seems fine. Is there a shut off valve that needs to be reset? many thanks. Ash
The first thing you need to do is check that the water valve is on, as the humming noise you can hear may be the water valve trying to let water in. also check that you have fitted pump correctly as the humming noise might be also the motor jammed

Bosch SMS69L02GB/07 dishwasher has no error codes & is not Heating
Hi Paul, just watched your excellent YouTube video on replacing a pump in a Bosch dishwasher to guide me stripping down ours. I wonder if you can help, our Bosch SMS69L02GB/07 dishwasher has no error codes and washes with cold water, empties OK but doesn't dry, it appears that there is no heat. Assuming it's the heating element part that has failed, I've found the correct circulation heat pump on your web site OK. So to be sure I've remove the circulation heat pump from the machine and put a meter on the connections, checking out the pins with the thicker cables that I assume are for the heating element, but I don't get an open circuit reading on the pins. Could the fault be caused by something else? The meter readings I get going from right to left ignoring the first green/yellow earth (pin 1) and checking across pins 2,3 & 4 are: Pins 2 - 3 10 ohms Pins 2 - 4 19 ohms Pins 3 - 4 10 ohms Thanks Chris
Hi Chris you will need to work out which pins are for the motor and which are for the heating side i have not got a video on this yet but i have put it on the list.
There are also thermostats that might be causing the problem, also check that the are no bad connections and that there are no chafed or broken wires also see if this has any ntc sensors apart from these you may have a bad pcb but without having the machine in front of me i cant be much more help.

Siemens dishwasher SE64E330GB/32 fill Problem
Hi there, fantastic website! I'm having trouble with my Seimens dishwasher. Model SE64E330GB/32. I went to turn the machine on, led's weren't lighting up on the control panel. Removed casings, power was going to control module. Opened module and found a burned looking track on the board, so I replaced it. Machine was then turning on again. Ran the machine and it kept filling and draining. Found some water in the sump so removed cleaned and dried it iut. Ran the machine again and checked for leaks, and found none. The diagnosis is exactly like your flow meter video. So I ordered one in my local parts shop. Replaced the flow meter, checked for leaks ect, fault remains. What would be next diagnostic check? Could my pump be gone? Maybe this cooked the control module ect? If you could shine any light on the situation that would be great. If not ill right an engineer ; ) Kind regards
Hi Gary Egan
hi from what you are saying i still feel it might be the flow valve! did you fit it the right way round as the is normally an arrow on them showing water direction

Whirlpool Dishwasher not filling Adp & ADG Types
Hi TherePlease assist me...Our dishwasher does not filling up with water and then it does not star the cycle. I can hear it is trying to fill but it then stop and give 1 flash every time. it fills up with little water. I turned it 45 degrees backwards some water ran out but it is still doing the same. I check both the inlet and outlet hoses and could not see any damage or blockage. I need a service manual or advice on how to find the problem please... I managed to get a small size video with the door open
I have had a lot of problems with these ADP and ADG type dishwashers the fill chamber on the side of the machine can clog restricting the flow of water in and the the machine times out, also the water valve can fail but not that often. the main thing is that if the flow jug that is built into the fill chamber does not register water coming in then the dishwasher will time out. if you take the side off then watch it when it tries to fill. i have put a link to your Whirlpool ADP4305 fill chamber below and you will see it comes with impeller jug.
To assist you with this with repair on your Whirlpool dishwasher i have put videos below but they might be on other makes but the principle is the same.

Bosch Dishwasher SMS69L09uk/15 intermittently not emptying
I Have a Bosch Dishwasher SMS69L09uk/15. It has intermittently not been filling or more so not emptying usual fault code e 25 and "check water" light on. At the moment on a short wash it will fill and empty. On long wash it stops before cycle has finished with "end" and e25 and "check water" light on. There is water left in the machine. I Have changed the inlet valve hose unit. The are no signs of a blocked pump, I can turn the pump accessing from inside the machine although it won't actually spin freely. Would the next step be to take out the pump?
It looks like you have a blockage or a faulty pump. See related videos below.
