Electrolux EUF2744AOX Internal Ice
This is a 7 compartment frost free freezer. Recently, it has started to get a large build up of ice inside. I have emptied, cleaned and defrosted, but ice returns after a few months. Is it something that can be fixed, or better to buy a new freezer? I am in Santa Barbara de Nexe, Faro.

I will try and help with this problem on your Electrolux EUF2744AOX
One of the first points to check on any Ice build up in the freezer would be the door and door seal.
Does it look like it is cracked or sticking anywhere? does it touch the facia of the freezer all round? If not give it a clean with a cloth and some hot water and try and clean the seal and make the rubber supple. Any warm air getting into your machine will cause the fridge freezer to work harder as it is trying to cool the outside air too.
Next to check would be the door hinges does it close ok? has the door dropped slightly? does it move when you rock the door? If so there could be the problem.
If you have checked these items and the fault still exists There is possibly a fault with the defrost heater in your machine. In order for your freezer to be frost free there is a heater that melts the ice to keep it frost free. When this fails it can cause ice to build up resulting in the faults you have described. Now this works on a set cycle from the manufacturer If you turn off you Electrolux EUF2744AOX and defrost the Freezer for 24 hours with the door open. Make a note of the date and Turn it back on the following day after mopping up any water the defrosting generates. You may find that machine will freeze again in a couple of days weeks or months. If this is happening I would certainly investigate the Defrost element. This will need a professional tradesperson with specialist tooling.
Hope this helps, Stay safe.
