Indesit IWB5123 Washing Machine faulty lock
Hi Paul, Indesit IWB5123. Washing Machine. Hello, my problem is that when I have closed the door and press start Button the red door light starts to flash and won't start the cycle. This has happened for the past week, but i just opened the door moved the washing and then tried again - which worked up until now. When it has failed to start completely. Unfortunately there is no description of a flashing red door lock light in the manual. I think from watching your video that I might have to fit a new door lock/interlock? which one do I need please? or do you have any other suggestions. Thanks

this does sound like a door lock fault.

Hi paul i have the indesit iwb5123 machine and just this morning i went to check the cycle was complete to find all lights were illuminated and wash had not started ive followed a few youtube videos cleaning filter and draw but thats where my knowledge ends i beleive it to be the locking mechanism as when i close the door on any program it wont engage and the light for door locked does not illuminateand now the wash cycle light comes on but wont start ,In the past its nearly always needed a slight tap near the release handle when closing any advice please
