Delonghi range cooker dual fuel model number DFS 905 no power

by / Monday, 17 November 2014 / Published in

Hi Paul, I was wondering if you could help me please. I have a Delonghi range cooker dual fuel model number DFS 905 I have unfortunately lost the manual and can not find a replacement one anywhere. The thing is we had a powercut last week due to a thunder storm and now the clock and oven won’t work the gas hobs ignite fine (thankfully) and the temperature control clicks when turned as if to go on but the main selector switch doesn’t work. Would you know how where the breakers are on such a unit so I can see if that is the problem or if it’s the selector switch itself (but would the clock not work if the selector switch is broke?) as you can most probably tell I am not an expert on this kind of stuff and any advice would be most welcome. Thanking you in advance Danielle.t

Hi Danielle. this could be a timer fault or the selector switch but the first thing you will need to do is test that you have power going to the switch. please let us know when you have found which part has gone faulty and the send me the full model number of the id plate normally inside the door.
