Hoover VT 914D22X/1-80 washing machine Keeps tripping everytime i switch to spinning mode

Keeps tripping and sparks everytime I switch on to spin, but it works to draining mode with light. Please help whats the problem,Thanks

Good morning​, this sounds like you may have a fault with the motor on the washing machine you need to take it off and inspect the carbon brushes as these may be worn and can be replaced but I am unsure which ones fit this model as they have fitted two different types of motor there is a replacement motor for this machine​, but if you only need the carbon brushes I will need to see a picture of the old ones.
