Hotpoint cooker hood HDF6.5SAB Bulb replacement

Trying to find a bulb for the light its an osram 20W 12V hotpoint only sell the whole fitting C00298186 and they have not got it in stock

I will try and help with your Hotpoint cooker hood HDF6.5SAB problem

 

the voltage that comes out of the Transformer goes to the bulbs should be somewhere in the region of about 30volts ac although the lamp bulbs themselves are only 12 volt.

you should be able to do a continuity check on the bulb, I have added a recent video on this exact Cooker Hood which I have just made because I saw this question come in. and I had one in stock in our showroom so I made this quick video for you,
