The dryer is switched on by turning the timer dial to the length we want the dryer to go on for them press start. When I put it on 70 mins the dryer will finish in 15 mins. The dial moves too fast and the clothes stay wet

I have a tumble dryer that’s only 18 months old I just stopped heating completely, it all seems to be running correctly but the clothes are wet and not warm.
