AEG T65170AV Tumble dryer Not heating
Prod No: 916095259
Drier, not heating, thought it may be element so purchased a replacement via yourselves and followed the tutorial on replacing the part. The new element seemed to work for a couple of wash loads then failed. Spoke with Paul who got me to check the elements and thermostats on the element block. These all tested fine on ohm meter. Elements appear to be fine / heat goes to the drum area when I run machine on diagnostic. Can you assist me here please. I may need to buy another part if required. If you need further info, please get in touch. Thanks & Regards
Derek
AEG T65170AV Tumble dryer Squeak starts intermittent then worsens
Dryer may start quietly then repetitive squeak heard to coincide with drum rotation – worsens until disturbingly loud. Hard to pinpoint origin but does not seem to be main bearing.
Please advise how to trace and confirm cause?
If economic DIY repair not possible will buy a BOSCH tumble Dryer.
John Lewis Tumble Dryer JLDV09 same as AEGT65170AV Displays E60
The drum jammed because the felt/foam seal disintegrated. I have fitted a new seal & the drum rotates ok by hand but error code E60 is displayed when switched on.
Aeg Lavatherm T65170av Tumble Dryer Drum Spins, No Heat, Heater And Thermostats Ok, Cannot Locate Any Others
Hiya, I have an AEG Tumble dryer that is not heating up, when turned on it goes for about 2 minutes then clicks off. No heat coming from heater, drum spins around fine – PNC 91609525906 Lavatherm 65170AV SN:74409680, located the heater and the 2 thermostats at the back of the machine checked for continuity – all OK. Cannot find another thermostat anywhere, checked sides and back and drum inside. Is there another one anywhere???
Located the ntc thermistor, haven’t got a little connector to try and test it properly, I can probably make one tomorrow if you think this is the culprit BUT if the 2 thermostats (AND there is not another one fitted) and the heater are all OK is it likely to be anything else or shall I just order one.
