How can repair or replace a drum on a Hotpoint CTD00, the shaft is welded to the drum and i can’t see how you would fit a new one without having to buy a whole new drum. Many thanks for your help

The manufacture now sells a Bearing Drum shaft Repair Kit (For Riveted Drums) it use to only sell the complete drum. this can be used on these models CTD00G, CTD00P, CTD00T, CTD40G, CTD40P, CTD40T, CTD80G, CTD80P, CTD80T, CTD85A
I made a video a while back that show how to remove the old plate although they say you can drill the old ones out I prefer to grind them of as in the video because it will not leave any burs on the drum that can snag your clothes.
