Hi Barry,
If your Baumatic heat pump dryer isn't turning and you notice a humming noise, it's possible that the capacitor is faulty. To address this, certain components of the dryer will need to be removed. I've crafted a video guide to assist you through this process, detailing how to remove the lid, side panel, front panel, and main panel. Before disconnecting any wires, it's crucial to snap some photos to ensure proper reconnection. However, I've provided the wiring diagram below as an additional reference in case you face any challenges.
For your information, the capacitor for this tumble dryer is rated at 15 uf with the reference number 41043444.
Remember to organize the screws methodically, so reassembly is seamless.
For your convenience, I've included links below which lead to parts and diagrams illustrating the internal wiring connections. The wiring diagram, in particular, provides a comprehensive overview, highlighting wire colors for clarity. Additionally, there's a useful video guide on testing the motor for functionality.
I've also incorporated the test procedure and diagnostic mode specific to this tumble dryer model. This will be instrumental in helping you decipher any potential error codes you might encounter, such as E03, E05, E07, E08, E10, E11, E12, E13, E14, E15, E19, E21, and E22.
