Hoover HMO635/1X HEATER ELEMENT PACKED UP
Hi The heating element on my daughter's oven has packed up. I have a little experience in replacing a duff element, as I did so on my own Belling oven, but that was situated at the back of the oven.As I don't have any other experience; is the element in the above model of oven at the back, or is it siuated elsewhere? I hope you can guide me, many thanks. 33700301 Best wishes Ian

I will try and help with this problem with your Hoover HMO635/1X oven
There is a grill element and a base element on this cooker - these may have gone faulty. You need to do a meter test on these. I have included the video below to assist you, there is no fan oven element on this model.
There is a possibility that the selector switch may have gone faulty - you will need to inspect this, and there is also TOC thermal cut-out which also may have gone faulty, it is also worth checking that the relay on the timer is working correctly and your daughter has not accidentally left the cooker all Auto, I hope this helps you if you need any further assistance feel free to give me a call when you have found what is faulty please let me know
