John Lewis JLDV08 tumble dryer with E60 error fault code

Hi,

I have an E60 error on our tumble dryer. It is producing heat some times, but other times the cycle finishes with damp clothes. Similarly, sometimes a cycle runs correctly and clothes are dry after, say, a 40 minute quick cycle.

When I get the E60 error, the door automatically opens.

I suspect a heater problem, rather than a thermostat. Is there a diagnostic mode to test this? If it is the heater, can you point me at a video that assists in accessing and testing it?
As discussed, its a JLDV08, Prod No. 916 093 858.

To confirm, i got ~60 ohms and ~30 ohms from the two heater elements, and both thermostats on the heater appear to have continuity.

Thanks
Steve
