NEW REPAIR GUIDES

FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

Bearings gone broken off at the back of drum

The door will not lock/shut on my hoover HL V8DGB-80 tumble drier.

Do you have this in stock and are they easy to replace.

Do you also provide next day delivery.

Hi Paul,
I’m trying to access my tumble dryer condensate pump to clean it out as I believe it has become blocked with fluff. How do I access the condensate pump?
I’ve trawled the internet and cannot find any details on this at all.
Many thanks in advance
Sean

I spoke to a very helpful gent yesterday and he said to send in another request with more detail so i hope this is the correct info. The cloths get warm…ish but not dry. No water is pumped up to the reservoir in the door. i have aleady had a go a stripping down the machine and found fluff in the little chamber where a little pump should then pump it up. there is a float that i assume starts the pump when the level is high. the switcj works okay but i don’t know what resistance reading i should get fo the little pump. please can you help me diagnose the problem
Thanks

TDWSF83BEP on 15min timed programme runs til 5 mins remaining, both high & low heater sides run at approx 10amps for 5 mins then drops to approx 5amps just low side(heats, spins both ways, pumps etc.up til this point) carries on for several more minutes then F19 error. Heat element 2 x 1200w, 42.5ohm each total=85ohm. Heat stat (type261/bp 180deg 20-16)180deg cut out reads short cct, heater ntc (type 279 23-16 3111 T200)approx 12kohm @ 20deg, decreases with heat. Fan ntc(2790046 48-16)12kohm @ 20deg approx decreases with heat. Fan, ducts, filters, condenser, water reservoir all cleaned and clear. Flood float reed switch normally short cct (empty reservoir), open cct when lifted. Condenser reed switch normally open cct, short cct when condenser unit in situ. Control bd diodes, resistors, caps all within reasonable tolerance, relays operate in-cct with 9v applied, short or open cct.
Display bd checks ok, mom switches, diodes. leds, resistors ok. Max6959 (display interface) not tested but appears to function ok, 7 segment display working ok.
Wiring checked for continuity, shorts, leaks etc all ok.
Direct drive motor not yet checked, cct bd on motor, Askoll type TA0200, would need to remove bearings to gain access to cct bd.
Is the motor/cct bd the likely culprit here?
Apologise for lengthy detail but driving me nuts, thanks.

Hi, I’ve got a dryer that hums and wouldn’t spin, just seen your video describing the capacitor fault and thought I’d order one from you to thank you for the video help! I have a Beko DCU 9330W and I can’t see a capacitor listed for it on your listings. Could you point me to the correct one?
Kind regards

Hi there
I have a code on my machine f04 the bottom tray is full with water and very little in the top tray,
What part would I need to order to fix my machine
Thank you

COULD IT BE THE RELAY ON PCB BOARD

Can you send me link for repairing heater element please ? Thanks

Have installed new heating elements complete with stats. Have checked relays on control module, (all OK).Have checked float switch and pump,(all OK).
Could it be humidity strip although looks good? Anything else that could hold off the heaters? At wits end so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You Ken
