If your clock is not working correctly and the oven is not coming on you need to download the manual for your cooker you will need the full model number of your oven which can be found on the identification plate then you will be able to go to the manufacturer's website and download the user manual which will show you the procedure for setting up your cooker clock

- The Cooker timer is not set correctly
Make sure the timer is set to manual not automatic if you are unsure how to do this use your model number to download the user manual so you can obtain the correct procedure for setting up the clock - Clock or Timer is Faulty
On all the timer units which had mechanical switches, it is possible that the points inside the switch may have carbonised or failed, on more modern cookers with the digital clock either the relay has become faulty or it is possible that the circuit board inside the timer is faulty - How Cooker or Oven timers and clocks work
