NEW REPAIR GUIDES

FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

Hi,
Can you please kindly help me find the exact Drum bearing kit size (diameter) and part number as I don’t know what size of bearing and seal kit that is required for the particular model of my washing machine. Many thanks – Larry

Drum has dropped inside the housing and has a lot of play. Will not spin, just grinds along so I think it’s the bearings, but I can’t find my model number on the list of any bearings. Do you have any for this model please? Many thanks.

Motor refuses to turn, until I give a helping hand, it started sparking when turning slow. When it starts to speed up, it started surging and the sparks get bigger. This was done with belt removed. Is it a brush fault or something else. Many thanks colin

When I turn wash on it says end , then when I press start It says end and if I try turn it of it flashes 3 . I can’t change setting and it just flashes end

When my wife uses the washer she says it constantly seems to keep filling with water and nothing else happens, when she turns it on it makes a clicking noise.

Load banging noise mid cycle

machine purchased Aug 2010, this is 1st lights fault. I cannot find on the instruction leaflet the button numbers referred to on other sites. There are 2 flashing green, the first has a clock symbol above it, + the one next to it with a T.shirt symbol is flashing green. The symbol with the keyhole (no button) is flashing red. I have tried switching the 3 dials to upright position & unplugging the machine leaving for 10 mins & plugging it back in. This didn’t work.

Hi
My elderly neighbour has the red light door lock stops on all the time on her washing machine and nothing will works, even if I unplug it then later plug it back in the red light stops on. I managed to get her clothes out by looking at you videos. I’m not quite sure if it’s the pump or the actual door lock or main board. I was wondering if you could give me some advice for her

dOF fault on display ,could not get any programmes to work now machine won’t switch on at all.

I have just seen this video after fixing my wf321p earlier with this exact fault. I have to ask though about how you have fitted the electrolytic capacitor on this board. I can see the polarity before you remove the faulty capacitor and the markings on the board are a white circle and a + which both show the opposite that you refer to as “positive on the left” as the +ve is clearly marked on the board to the right. The white band marked -ve on the capacitor can be seen before removal and is nearest the small 8 pin I.C. adjacent to the capacitor being replaced which is the white circle on the board. I have a photo of mine before removal which also shows this. Basically, it looks and sounds to me as though you are fitting this capacitor the wrong way round. The link below also shows the capacitor with the -ve side nearest the ‘chip’ and “on the left where the little white dot is”. Electrolytic capacitors fitted the wrong way round don’t usually last very long and can ‘go’ in style as it were.
