Appliance workshop in South Wales now totaly off grid electric

SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Making videos on your domestic appliances suddenly became a very expensive hobby, After having the last two electricity bills over £1000 plus. I decided to actually convert the property to an off-grid system.

With my concerns that my electricity bill was on the real incline and also a little worried about power cuts. Security of supply but after doing some calculations I decided that a Victron multiplus 8 kW would be the best solution for his problem. I fitted a Cerbo GX and touch screen. we have 12kw of solar it is connected to 3 x 150 / 100 MPPT controllers I used this system to allow for any fault or shading occurring in the future that I would have back up. We installed 50kw of batteries as I found a good sauce on them they are only two-year-old, I would have liked to gone with lithium-ion but I could not afford to miss out on this deal, ( I was going to buy The new 4.8 lithium-ion from Battery Megastore would have been my preference ) We then programmed the system to run Victron ESS Software and was connected in line with the grid.

Remote Control & Monitoring

When connected to the internet one notable feature on this particular system is it can be monitored and controlled remotely from anywhere in the world. This feature allows us to monitor the system on your behalf, and you can additionally monitor it yourself via PC, MAC, IOS, Android Etc. From time to time updates are available for your system software, which can mean extra functionality etc. These updates are also conducted remotely. See the images below of the remote console.
