Beko D533 oven not heating up
Hello, I have a Beko Cooker. The oven is not heating up anymore. Would this be the element? Which replacement element do I need and how do i fit the new element.

Beko D533
If your Beko D533 oven is tripping the electricity you need to first check if the element is working or not, to do this test please follow the video i have added below. Once you have confirmed the element is not working you can go ahead an order the replacement element. I have listed the appropriate part below for your make and model of oven. I have also added some useful how to videos which yo can follow to assist you in replacing the element in your oven.
For future reference, I’ve included some Common faults with these Beko D533 or DC3521 Oven cookers to assist you in the future or anyone else reading this.
- The oven will not turn on
The first thing you need to check is that the oven timer is not on auto if it is, turn it on to manual.
- No Heat in Oven
If the fan is running and the thermostat light comes on but you get no heat (or just the thermostat light on in non-fan ovens and cookers) then the probability is that the fan element or oven elements have failed.
- Electricity trips (Rcd) when I turn the oven on or grill
This is normally an element that has gone to earth, This is a well-known fault with electric ovens, the insulation breaks down in the elements and trips the RCD , best way is to stick a meter on each element and check that they have not got earth leaks on them. But this can also be a wiring fault.
- The grill element doesn't work
This would usually indicate that the grill element is faulty. Check these: Grill element, Oven changeover switch, Overheat thermostat, Main oven thermostat, if used to regulate the grill temperature.
- The Beko D533 or DC3521 oven fan is not working or spinning correctly (slow) or is noisy
The fan motor may need to be replaced see video on this also the cooling fan motor can cause same problems.
- The Beko D533 or DC3521 oven overheats and burns everything
Normally this is a simple thermostat failure which would manifest itself as this symptom.
- The Beko D533 or DC3521 oven or cooker cuts out after it's been on for a while
This is an overheating problem which can be caused by the fan motor or main oven thermostat or a faulty safety thermostat that will be causing the problem. It can also be caused by a failure of the cooling fan, where fitted, but usually these go noisy before failing, Safety thermostats are used to prevent the oven or cooker overheating and will shut the oven down.
