Hotpoint Oven SA4844CIX always with undercooking food!
QUESTION - Everything in my Hotpoint oven comes out undercooked. For instance, frozen pizza, instructions say bake 18-20 minutes at 220 degrees. I let oven preheat thoroughly to 220 degrees (I wait about 10 minutes just to be sure), cook for 20 minutes on center of lower rack. The side of the pizza that was closer to the rear of the oven is visible slightly more cooked, but in general the cheese has melted etc. Yet biting into the pizza, parts are not warm

I will try and help with your HOTPOINT Oven SA4844CIX problem
If your cooker is undercooking the food there are a few problems that could cause this, as you did not say what functions you were using to cook on, I will go through the most common problems.
if you are using the fan-assisted motor during cooking if the fan is not running at the correct speed and distributing the air around the cooker correctly this would cause it to under Cook. you will also need to check all the three elements in the cooker if one of these elements are not working correctly this would also cause it to undercook, the next is a little bit more complicated if you're NTC sensor Part number (6910 C00385334 PROBE THERMOSTAT OVEN MATERIA) you will see this in the diagram below, if this is not reading the correct ohms reading at the set temperature this would also cause a problem, or you could have a faulty circuit board. I have never liked these electronic cookers I have always preferred the ones with mechanical thermostats they are much more reliable. there is a full exploded diagram below of your cooker with all the spare parts for the if you need any further help feel free to contact me

I have just replaced my Hotpoint hui611 duel fuel cooker with a Hotpoint hui611 x induction hob cooker and I am having the same issue with all food being undercooked and needing to be put in for longer on higher temperatures for it to not always fully cook. I found a newspaper article yesterday from 8 years ago, so it would seem it is a problem Hotpoint is aware of but are still in the deny stage. Here is a link to the article… http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/jul/22/hotpoint-oven-raw-chicken
I have had an engineer out to my cooker, he tested with a heat temperature/sensor gun and said it is working withing Hotpoint’s parametres, however, he also said he had been called out to the same fault many times, and it is up to your retailer to sort out the problem with Hotpoint, basically they will both wash their hands of the issue unless you have consumer rights in your country to back you up.
