Zanussi ZDC46130W Condenser Tumble Dryer stops mid-cycle
Hi Paul. Our Zanussi Condenser Dryer has started to stop mid-cycle. It runs for about 5 only then stops. I have faithfully cleaned out the fluff filters in the door and body as well as the condenser itself so I don't think the lies there. I have also cleaned out the front "hollow" space in the body running from the filter downward to the base of the front where the condenser is located, as best as I could. I found there was water in the space at the bottom of that area which I hope is normal - given it's a condenser. I replaced the capacitor in January this year when the drum would only rotate when it was given some assistance by manually rotating prior to shutting the door and then starting. I am at a loss. Could you please assist? I would appreciate it very much...and it would make me a hero once again) to "er indoors". Much obliged.Trevor

This sounds like you may have a problem with the heating system this is a common fault you need to inspect the thermostats on the back of the heater also the forward thermostat, make sure you do a continuity check on the element if all of these check out correctly then you may have a problem with the heater relay on the circuit board I have added some videos below to assist you in your repair. I have also sent you a workshop manual by your email address

Hi.
Wonder if you can help me.
I have a zanussi lindo300 tumble dryer condenser and it works fine, but suddenly when I stopped the machine mid-cycle to check that the clothes were all dried up and intended to stop it by turning it off since the clothes were all done, it won’t turn off, as though it’s on delayed status, the light flashes and it’s stuck on the number 6. It won’t reset. I’ve tried turning it off and back on a few times, I tried unplugging it and leaving it off over night, but nothing changed. It’s still stuck on that number and on the signal. I’ve had this machine for two years, and this never happened before. This is not my first dryer and I simply cannot afford a new one and I cannot afford bringing a technician over again for something that may prove very simple. Also, I don’t have a manual to refer to. I would appreciate your insight, if that’s available. Thank you for your time.
Hi, I have a zanussi zdc46130w condenser dryer which was humming when trying to turn. I changed the capacitor and replaced the belt as it was a little frayed. Now when I switch it on it will pulse ie, turn for 1 second, then stop for 1 second, then turn for 1 second, and so on. Before it started humming it was working fine. And no lights are flashing, everything on the front panel is as it should be. Help!
make sure that the Drum is turning freely and there is nothing causing it to jam
When manually turning the drum, it is moving freely
Nothing I can see visually causing any obstruction.
Hi, the drum is turning freely when rotating manually and nothing obstructing the drum. What next?
