Thanks so much for the speedy reply. Just one more question. The capacitor you recommend is the same spec but the one I’ve removed is shorter in length. I’ve noticed mine looks more like a hotpoint/indesit one than the candy ones I’ve seen online. Its length measures 58mm excluding thread and terminals and with its 35 mm diameter looks stubbier than the one you have.The body is also metal. Does any of this matter? There is plenty of clearance at the back of the capacitor to accept a your longer capacitor so I’m hoping all will be well. Please advise. Thanks. Lee
