Tumble Dryer facial panel types

If these fault codes apply to your Tumble dryer it should have a fascia panel on it like one of those shown below, there are four known variants covering quite literally hundreds of different models sold in the UK and across the EU.

Error Codes for Env06 Tumble dryer boards:

Possible fault  Wiring faulty; Brushes worn/faulty; Electronic

board faulty. Machine Status/Action  Cycle interrupted.

E33

It is displayed in the last alarm, if position 8 is NOT OK.

Possible fault Wiring faulty; Brushes worn/faulty; Electronic

What means E50 on AEG T57840?

    Hello!
I have an AEG dryer Electrolux Lavatherm
    T57820
    Typ 91 A BD AB 01 A
An errorcode: E60 appears. But that code is not on your list. Can you tell me what it means?
    Best regards

    • RAM says : Reply

60 is the group which I think is something to do with the heater unit.
When you get the 60 error you then need to press together the start/pause and first control button nearest the start/pause.
This will then give you the actual specific fault number within that group.

    Hello
I have a AEG Dryer Lavatherm
    Model T57840
    Product nº 916 096 264 00
The error code is E51 and also E54. Before the motor worked and just before it stopped working the moter would make a strande sound.
The motor now will not ever turn althou we hear the relays on the front panel.

    What could this be?

    Regards
    Hugo

hi I have a zanussi zdc64130w condenser tumble dryer, it keeps stopping and 3 green lights come on and the start stop button flashes red and bleeps, I’ve cleaned it all from dust and cleaned all filters also all the condenser pipework and water tank fittings .
I’ve put the dryer into diagnostic mode and the sequence of flashes are as follows (7 red flashes followed by 1 green flash)
please can you tell me what this means and how I can fix this problem.
    many thanks Eddie

    • i think 7 Red followed by 1 Green is Error code E71 indicates the NTC (temperature sensor) is faulty.
The service manual suggests changing the NTC, checking the wiring to the NTC and back to the control board.
If the wiring is ok and the NTC is new then the fault would lie with the main control board.

see our videos on ntc sensors

      Hi.
I have a Electrolux EDC 78550W tumble dryer with a TC3 facial panel.
      The motor will not start.
I have tried test position 3 – and the pump starts but the motor is silent – what could this be?

      • sorry for the late reply
Try checking the capacitor on the motor I believe on this model you need to take off the side panel

Thank you for your quick reply! 🙂
I have done some diagnostics tests (thanks to your guidance) and have recieved E5E on the display panel and
5 blinks With red light and 14 blinks With green light.
Is it possible to find out what this meens?

If it is problem with the capacitor, where do I find it?
I have removed both side panels, but I cannot see any capacitor…..
I hope You have time to answer! 🙂
          Best regards.

          • i think you mean e53 as i cant find e5e in any data plus the lights don,t make sense. but here is code for e53

Hello, I have an Electrolux reverse action dryer Model EDP2074PZW. Recently, I started getting an E20 error and the clothes do not dry. Any idea what the problem is and how it can be fixed?

    Thanks

    • I would just check the heating element, thermostats and if it is a condenser dryer check the pump system See all videos on the website to assist you with all these repairs.

i have an Electrolux dryer Model EDC77570W, after three years of use, there is no more any response wen I push the start button. And non of the lihgts on the pannel are flashing. There is an AC to the main board and that its.

Do you know which display panel type and electronic environment an Electrolux EDI 96150W dryer would be? I realize there may be different years for it. I just need to get the exact sequence to enter diagnostic mode, and a few other pieces of information. For example, to enther the mode, is it Start/Pause and Timer (Cancel, Buzzer) for 6 seconds, or is it just hit cancel, then wait 10 seconds, then hit any button? I just don’t know. I currently have an error code of something like EA0, but I want more specifics. I realize it might be main board, belt, drum position/sensor, etc.. But I am always using manuals and tech data sheets for other dryers which is wrong. And where is the tech data sheet supposed to be on the dryer so I can advise my friend where to look? Thanks.

I forgot to mention, is it’s setup covered in the Env 06 – if so, I have that document opened online?

  20. John says : Reply

I think for all Electrolux/Zanussi, etc.. dryers form 2001 – 2011, we can just put selector switch on first position, then push start/pause and button next to it, to enter diagnostic mode, and then cycle through the tests by the selector. I”ll pass that on,.

Hello, thank you for the answer. The control panel is dead, What ever I have done, There was no sign or light or error Code, non of any light was lightning. The panel is most likely TC3, bot not quite equal.
