Tumble Dryer Belts
If your Tumble Dryer is not turning you need to check that the belt is in good order Take the tumble dryer lid of and check that the belt is firmly on the drum, and the belt is not slipping on to the motor shaft, check the pulley tension wheel. If it is, you might have a problem with the motor or capacitor, see other videos on this.
Tumble Dryer motor
The motor has two fan blades on it to circulate the air in the drying process and these can warp if the dryer has ever over heated.
If you need to test the motor then you can get the test ratings in the pdf below.
Tumble Dryer back bearing
If your dryer has started to become slightly noisy it is well worth checking the back bearing, you could also remove the whole drum to look at pads and wheels on the front of the dryer to check for wear.
The other things to do while you have the dryer apart, is make sure you thoroughly clean the inside to remove all built up fluff and dust as this will prolong the life of the dryer and also improve the working efficiency of the dryer.
