How to use the diagnostic mode for fault code errors

These error codes are for ENVo6 Cuirct boards tumble dryer  Electrolux, AEG, Arthur Martin, Elektro Helios, Eureka, Faure, Frigidaire, Gibson Appliance, Husqvarna, Kelvinator, Marijnen, Parkinson Cowan, Progress, Simpson, Tornado, Tricity Bendix, Volta, Westinghouse, Zanker, Zanussi, Zoppas,

Tumble Dryer facial panel types

If these fault codes apply to your Tumble dryer it should have a fascia panel on it like one of those shown below, there are four known variants covering quite literally hundreds of different models sold in the UK and across the EU.

Error Codes for Env06 Tumble dryer boards:

E00

No alarm.

E21

Canister fill pump triac faulty.

Possible fault Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty. Cycle interrupted. OFF

E22

Triac "sensing" circuit for the canister fill pump faulty

Possible fault Electronic board faulty. Cycle interrupted. Machine Status/Action OFF

E31

Conductimetric sensor signal frequency too high.

Possible fault Electronic board faulty.Machine Status/Action Alarm activated only during diagnostics.

E32

Conductimetric sensor signal frequency too low.

Possible fault  Wiring faulty; Brushes worn/faulty; Electronic

board faulty. Machine Status/Action  Cycle interrupted.

E33

It is displayed in the last alarm, if position 8 is NOT OK.

Possible fault Wiring faulty; Brushes worn/faulty; Electronic

board faulty.  Machine Status/Action Alarm activated only during diagnostics.

E45

Door closure sensor.

Possible fault Door interlock faulty; Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty. Machine Status/Action Cycle interrupted.

E51

Motor power triac short-circuited.

Possible fault Motor faulty; Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty. Machine Status/Action Cycle interrupted.

E52

Intervention of motor overheating safety cut-out.

Possible fault Motor faulty; Intervention of motor overheating cutout; Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty.

Machine Status/Action Power to the heater unit and reversal of the direction of rotation are interrupted. If the problem does not re-occur, the alarm is memorized and the cycle continues. If the fault persists after several attempts to supply power (about 35 min.), alarm E51 is generated.

E53

Motor triac "sensing" circuit faulty.

Possible fault Electronic board faulty. Machine Status/Action Cycle interrupted.

E54

Motor in-operational.

Possible fault Excessive wash load; Voltage too low; Motor/transmission system inoperative.

Machine Status/Action Cycle paused after several attempts at powering the motor. Start

E61

Insufficient heating (maximum time exceeded).

Possible fault  Heater unit faulty; Wiring faulty; NTC sensor incorrectly calibrated/out of position; Electronic board faulty.

Machine Status/Action Cycle paused.

E62

Power relay to heater unit faulty.

Possible fault Heater unit faulty; Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty.

Machine Status/Action Forced cooling cycle.

E63

Intervention of auto-reset thermostat on the heater unit.

Possible fault Thermostat faulty (replace heater unit); Heater unit faulty; Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty.

Machine Status/Action Disconnects the power supply to the heater unit. If the problem does not re-occur, the alarm is memorized and the cycle continues. If, after several attempts to restore power, the fault persists, alarm E62 is generated.

E64

Heater thermostat.

Possible fault Heater thermostat faulty: Wiring faulty; Electronic board faulty.

E65

Fan motor triac faulty.

Possible fault Fan motor wiring not connected; Motor faulty; Triac interrupted.

E66

Fan motor thermal protection.

Possible fault Fan motor wiring not connected; Motor faulty; Triac interrupted.
