Hi, The drying machine is not turning on, no lights on in front panel when I switch to any position. I also tried to enter in test mode, no results Is there any fuse to check? Thanks in advance for your help. Jose

Hello. My mum tells me her dryer is doing the following.
– Runs for approx 60 minutes then stops and the empty water light turns ON.
– Check of the water tank finds there’s not a lot of water in it.
– Emptied water tank.
– Dryer won’t restart after 5, 10 and 15 minues have passed but will start after 20-30 minutes has elapsed since stopping.
– Dryer then stops again after approx 60 minutes with empty water light ON.
– The above repeats.
– The dryer is heating up, turning and changing direction.
– There are no other lights on except the empty water when the dryer stops.

It appears the dryer is cutting out and with it being able to restart after 20-30 minutes perhaps though this was the thermal control cut out but the empty water light is a question mark given the water tank is no where near full – to quote my mum ‘there’s hardly any water in the tank when it stops’.

I’ve watched your excellent video about servicing a Hoover dryer and hope you’ll point me in the right direction before I buy the parts to fix it. I see Hoover supply pressure switches, NTC’s and heater but not the thermostats (that I could find in the spares list).

Any advice about possible cause and parts would be very much appreciated.

I turn the dryer and when I go back to it it has stopped and all light flashing

When starting the dryer after a few seconds there is a single beep and then the lights flash 5 times. The dryer continues turning but there is no heat.

As soon as you put the tumble dryer on for a cycle it runs for 10 seconds and dont get hot then starts beeping and flashing

The dryer switches on and rotates, but no heat is generated. Have checked and cleaned the filters and still no heat. Initially was intermittent, but now seems to have packed up.

Hi i have problem with JLTDH17 finishing after few minutes. I was trying to clean the electrodes, but it seems doesn’t cure the problem. Is the next step to change main board? and how much would it cost?

Motor working, belt is intact but drum not turning, watched your video on YouTube suspect capacitor! Can’t find a replacement part, can you supply one? Kind regards

Heat pump. No power. Checked supply, checked fuse. Happy to strip out. Already looked once a pcbs. No burns. Ex service engineer. Need guidance. Happy to buy a beer.

The tumble dryer is not powering at all. I opened the lid to check for a possible fuse or power filter but the cables go straight to the PCB.
