I will try and help with this problem about Gram Tumble Dryer DE 57310-50 Water Collector Warning Flashes
Hi Henrik, thanks for your question! It's amazing that I just made a video about this yesterday. It's uploading now, so the links might not be live yet. Condenser tumble dryers work with two air flows: a hot air system inside the machine and cold air drawn across the condenser plate for the condensing process. Heat pump tumble dryers use a refrigeration unit for this.
It sounds like your machine has an issue with the pump system that moves water from the bottom to the collection tray. There might be no water in the container, but the pump system is full of water. The video I made is for a Beko tumble dryer, but it'll show you what to look for. Water needs to go from the pump unit at the bottom left side of the machine to the top collection tray. If there's fluff built up in the unit, it can stop water from transferring.
Regular servicing is important for these machines. Fluff can build up and block the pump unit or stop water from reaching it. Poor maintenance often causes problems with these machines. I've attached some videos on Beko tumble dryers below, which should help you with your dryer. Once you understand how the machine condenses water vapour back into water, you'll know what to look for regarding blockages. I hope this helps!
