Hotpoint RFA52S Fridge and freezer not cold enough

The fridge is not cold at all and the freezer is around 3 degrees Celsius. It used to be a bit noisier intermittently but now has a constant low level hum.

The first thing you need to check is the Motor constantly running, if so I suspect you are low on gas or you have a compressor problem, as this Hotpoint RFA52S Fridge freezer is a conventional system and not a fan-assisted therefore if the freezer is -18 the fridge will get cold. if the compressor is not running then you may have a faulty starter relay or a faulty thermostat
