Zanussi ZWT71201WA Washer Dryer Dull Green Light On But No Digital Display

Had this problem with Zanussi ZWT71201WA Washer Dryer a few times, I need to reset I think..was told to turn dial I think backwards but forgot how many clicks ..can you help please

Good morning, Rachel. I'm not sure if you managed to start the programme, but let me explain how the system works. At the back right of the washing machine, there's an electrical filter and power enters the printed circuit board from there. If you have 240 volts at the circuit board but the LED display isn't lighting up, it could mean that either the display board has failed or the output from the circuit board isn't lighting up the display. This suggests that the main circuit board might be faulty.

Unfortunately, without specialist equipment to check this, it seems like you'd have to replace the whole printed circuit board. Since your machine is a bit older, you might find a second-hand one that works perfectly from an old machine with a different issue. Fixing this won't be easy for a DIYer, as you need to know the voltage outputs from the main printed circuit board going to the display board, and I don't have that information. I'm sorry I can't help more.
