Motor working, belt is intact but drum not turning, watched your video on YouTube suspect capacitor! Can’t find a replacement part, can you supply one? Kind regards

As per your instruction video, I need to replace the MSC.
Can you please tell me which part I need, the cost and when you can deliver.
Thank you.

Hi I’ve used many of your tutorials on YouTube with much success. However I cannot resolve the problem with the above dryer. I have replaced the door interlock switch and confirmed the start switch is good, I’ve also tried giving the motor a start by pushing the drum ( to rule out the motor capacitor) to no avail. When I push the start switch I can hear the door interlock latching which wasn’t happening before hence why this was changed but still dryer not starting can you suggest any other checks I can do. Cheers George

Followed your video to replace 7uf capacitor but fault persists with a burning smell.

Hi Paul.
Our Zanussi Condenser Dryer has started to stop mid-cycle. It runs for about 5 only then stops.
I have faithfully cleaned out the fluff filters in the door and body as well as the condenser itself so I don’t think the lies there. I have also cleaned out the front “hollow” space in the body running from the filter downward to the base of the front where the condenser is located, as best as I could. I found there was water in the space at the bottom of that area which I hope is normal – given it’s a condenser.
I replaced the capacitor in January this year when the drum would only rotate when it was given some assistance by manually rotating prior to shutting the door and then starting.
I am at a loss. Could you please assist?
I would appreciate it very much…and it would make me a hero once again) to “er indoors”.
Much obliged.

Belt recently broke and was replaced. We have had “buzzing” and failing to start for approx 6 months with a heavy load.

Now there is no buzz and nothing happens.

In Diagnostic mode using mode 3 I get the pump briefly running and a click then error code 51.

I took the PCB put and checked it over. Nothing obviously wrong with a visible check.

I put it partly back together to test and it worked.

I put it all back to together and it did not work.

After a day of checking, re-soldering connections, checking tracks etc I have not got it to work again.

I suspect the start capacitor is failing and maybe that has damaged the PCB in some way.

Any advice as to what to replace first would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to try to find someone to test the PCB and I was going to replace the capacitors.

Thanks and your videos are great. Especially as many of them feature the exact same model as mine!

Hello,

The tumble dryer wasn’t producing heat so i stripped it down to find some wire on the compressor corroded and not connected to one of the terminals. I cleaned everything up and replaced the connectors but it’s stil not producing heat. I have also checked the capacitors and they are fine. I also checked the two NTC sensors and they are ok as well. Do you have any suggestions pleae?

Thanks,

Robbie
