AEG L 16830 washing machine will not start on any settings

It has power & water to it, selecting any program it won't start. if you press the start button the door locks but I get no display or lights. if you press the "senitive" button ( plus one other) a number of lights plus the green door lignt come on while you hold the button in. This machine has 2 PCB's, one control & the other user interface. suspect one is faulty but don't know which ? can you help please

I will try and help with this problem with your AEG L 16830 washing machine

The first thing I would check is the door lock - I have included a video below to assist you checking this​, if the door lock is good then there's a good chance that one of the circuit boards may be faulty - it is usually the main circuit board at the bottom​, you will only be able to visually inspect this for any blown components check old diodes and resistors and there is also a logic chip which can go faulty on Electrolux machines.

Make sure you watch the video on tumble dryer  circuit board repair  as they all the similar as in the washing machine
