Creda T622cw Tumble dryer Not heating

The tumble dryer has stopped heating. I replaced the heater (which I bought from you) about 3 years ago. This time I took the back off and one of the thermostats was burnt through and the clip that connects the wire to it was burnt a bit. Is this just a thermostat issue or something bigger?Thanks in advance. Rich

I will try and help with this problem Creda T622cw tumble dryer

because these wires are carrying in excess of 8 Amp sometimes after a period Of time the terminals can burn you must remember they are in an environment which is damp and hot, if you replace the terminals or the whole wire the machine should be fine if the thermostat is in good condition, use the correct type of terminal and wire for this type of environment

 as you will see in the exploded diagrams below there are a couple of thermostats fitted to this machine there are usually two on the heater and one forward on the vent system you need to inspect them by doing a meter test, forward stat is 335 in picture it is also worth checking the wiring going to the timer I have added some videos below to assist you and any parts that you need you will be able to get at the bottom of the page just click on the link to the appropriate part in the diagram

    Good day, please help with wire diagram for a Cred Simplicity Dryer 260T or the wire colors and their connection points om the timer switch. Pulled out by accident and now the machine can’ t run.
