Hello we have an LG model F1256qd this has been working well, l went to use the machine but the start button will not work, have checked plug and fuse all ok the button will not switch the machine on. Please are you able to give me advice what may be the cause of my problem.

Hi Paul, I have an LG 1256QD. Had been perfect for years. Yesterday it started washing and then it suddenly had a tripping sound and stopped functioning. The Circuit breaker had tripped. I turned it on, checked power, the fuse etc it was all on. I took the top off after disconnecting expecting to find a seperate motherboard but it seems to be all integrated with the display panel. There is power coming into the washing machine at the entry into the machine where the cable snaps in but do not have the capacity or understanding of electrics to go beyond that.
I am not sure if repairing this by calling someone would be economical.
Shall be grateful for any help or advice.
Hi my LG Washing machine has all of a sudden developed a fault where the machine turns off during a program and when you turn it back on a PF error code is displayed. The power supply is good and I also have a antisurge plug fitted, any ideas what may be causing this?
