Has been failing to clean the dishes on the top shelf. Now altogether failed. Water fills up, then goes quiet, after about an hour, drains off. But program does not finish. Seems like a circulation motor fault – is this the capacitor or something else?

I will try and help with this problem with your NEFF S5443X1GB/12 dishwasher

This sounds like​ you have a problem with the main motor. There is a service kit available for it and it is a common fault that the head​ of the motor called an impeller can shred. You will need to strip down the motor to check and see if it is broken. I have not got a video on this sorry. Parts for your NEFF S5443X1GB12 are listed below
