Hi! I have recently subscribed to your channel due to your incredibly helpful advice on removing and repairing oven doors. Having removed mine, I see the problem is that the brackets holding the inner door to the glass fascia at the base of the inner door have snapped and I have had no luck trying to find replacements. I wonder if you have any idea if these can be replaced, and where to get them from? Many thanks, Sarah

No heat in the oven. tripped the electricity

As soon as I turn it on it trips the RCD. Do I need to take the oven out of cupboard housing to replace the fan element.

I cleaned my oven today with a spray foam cleaner. Left it 30 mins then rinsed out with an old dampened towel. When I switched it on, the light came on, the grill and oven were ok although I am not convinced it heated up but when I turned it to the fan oven it tripped the circuit. I have left it to dry out for 6 hours and the same thing happened. Reset the trip and now none of the functions work, including the light. The clock on the oven is working! None of the other functions. I tried to undo the glass cover for the bulb but it’s very stiff.

Hi Paul
I’m so glad I saw your YouTube post on Thermostat issues regarding ovens. I suffer from worry and anxiety, and therefore would be absolutely indebted to you for two minutes of your time, to give me urgent peace of mind. As our oven is built-in, hard-wired, and having watched some YouTube videos/read Montpellier feedback, I am worried sick about a couple of things – the ‘could this happen’ scenarios. Is there any chance Paul, with your extensive knowledge of ovens, thermostat controls and so on, that you could please call me for two minutes as soon as possible, to hopefully allay my fears? Living in my brother’s house, with the possible risk to him and his property/possessions, I need to know that the oven does not pose any threat to him. I will explain everything if we can talk – it’s probably me worrying over nothing – but that peace of mind would be so very appreciated at this time, as I have been overwhelmed with worry recently. Many thanks indeed for your time Paul.
Best wishes, Andy

this happened a few times maybe 30 mins into cooking and I had to reset the clock in order to put the oven back on. I should’ve stopped using but the problem seemed to go away and then it suddenly returned and it is not possible to even turn either oven or the grill on now. They immediately loose power.

Hi, i have recently replaced the selection switch but i cannot get to the two screws to loosen off the old selector
