Beko DCX83100W Condensor Tumble Dryer Not Heating

Hi there. I've worked out how to enter the diagnostic mode on this model. I wonder if you could help me interpret the info I'm getting from the display.I'm assuming that NT:01 & NT:02 are the NTC thermostats. NT:01 probably in the door and NT:02 probably on the heater.I'm getting a reading of 19 from NT:01 which I assume to be degrees centigrade and is about right for the kitchen. However NT:02 is giving 1:20 which I assume to be 120 degrees C.If thats the case then of course it won't heat up for safety reasons.I can't find anything online regarding this model maybe because it's still the current model on sale in the shops although I've had this one three years already.I'm happy to admit my assumptions are wrong regarding the display. If you can find out any more about the test mode on this machine that I'd be very grateful!Cheers, Paul

the first thing I would test as the heater followed by the NTC sensors, I have put as much information into this article as I can for you it was also the wiring diagram and the fault diagnostic procedure. at the bottom of the page, you will find an exploded diagram of the machine, below that will be all the components that are listed for this machine just click on any of the links and it will take you to the appropriate part

First see the heater reset button is working correctly then test NTC sensors at the correct temperatures

NOTE: If the heater does not work because of manual resetting thermostat is open circuit, do not change the heater with the new one. You should do the following operation that described below. With the multimeter manual resetting thermostat is checked from the terminals while the heater is on the dryer. If manual resetting thermostat is open circuit, the button is up and the heater does not work. If the button is up position,push the button down,and measure the thermostat and be sure that it is short circuit.

Door NTC sensor:
Door NTC (ohm) : 12.000 ohm @ 25°C

Heater: (For EU Models)
4.13.1. Manufacturer : IRCA
4.13.2. Type : Open wire spiral heating element
4.13.3. Nominal Power&Voltage(W) : 230Vac, 1600+900 = 2500 ± %5
4.13.4. Resistance(ohm) – 1600W : 32.41 ohm ± %5

250Vac – 16A / 160°C ±3°C
4.13.7. NTC (regulating thermistor) : ELTH 279
19.500 ohm @ 25°C
