FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

candy F 233/3 W UK cooker does not heat up

by / Friday, 05 May 2017 / Published in

Hi, My Candy electric oven has stopped heating up. The fan and oven light etc still work. I assume that it is the element that has gone. From looking at the spares available on your website the appear to be different elements (2100w , 2200w & 2500w) do you know what model (CandyF 233/3 W UK) would need? Many thanks, Rob

I will try and help with this problem Candy f233/3wuk fan oven

Good morning Rob, on this model on this model there were two different wattages of element fitted 2200 watt and 2500 watt they will both fit, but without your long serial number I cannot tell you what the original was.
There is really no difference as it is only a 1 amp increase and it means that the cooker will heat up slightly quicker,r but once it is reached temperature they cycle is basically the same on the thermostat.
If you can provide me with the full number of the identification plate then I can tell you which one was the original or if you take the element out there should be a wattage written on the mounting plate. I have included the elements for you to choose below, and also a useful video to help you replace the old element, on a video on how to test elements.

by the way the 2100 watt element it's just a replacement pattern part made by a Turkish company but it works perfectly well.
and all these elements are available and genuine and patent.

on all these elements the mountings are the same

If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact me. all the best Paul.
