Hotpoint Aquarius WDL520 washer/dryer has all 5 horizontal lights flashing only does part cycle

My hotpoint aquarius WDL520 has all 5 horizontal lights flashing. I have replaced the motor brushes and the heater thermistor. It goes through part cycle and stops. Please could you advise.

I will try and help with your Hotpoint Aquarius WDL520 washer/dryer problem.

It's unusual for all the lights to all flash unless the main control board is faulty.

However, let's try and see if we can find a cheaper fault that might be causing this.

Unplug the machine. Check the drain hose where it connects to the house drains for a blockage. Check also both the hose and the connection. If they are all clear, pull the machine out and lower the drain hose as low as possible into a bucket or wash basin.  When you need to empty the container raise the hose again. When drained as far as you can, remove the kick strip from the front and put some rags under the drain pump filter and undo it a little bit. Once all the water is out remove the filter and check for anything that might be jamming the propeller. You should be able to reach it with the finger see if you can turn it. It should only move a quarter of a turn at a time. If it turns freely, or does a half turn  then you'll need to replace the drain pump.
