Indesit washing Machine IWDD7143UK does not start

my Indesit IWDD7143UK  washing machine won't start and it won't dry either, I shut the door select the program but the machine will not start, I have tried it on many different washes but the start light just flashes

I will try and help with this problem Indesit washing Machine IWDD7143UK

The first thing I would check is the door interlock this could be a problem or it may be something to do with the wiring harness there have been some faults on these with this part.
