LG FH4A8TDH4N washing machine Heating duct has burnt
I noticed a awful smell when the dryer runs on the machine. When opening the top lid off I noticed the duct that that hot air flows through has almost burnt. If you have an email address I can send you a picture as I'm not sure what the part is called.Interested to know if you are able to get hold of the part.

I will try and help with this problem
to me at first glance, this looks like it's a Manufacturing fault air blows through this compartment via the fan motor and is heated by the top element, if fluffy has built up underneath it could hold some moisture and this is what is causing the rust corrosion I think you really need to take this up with the manufacturer. the washing machine does not seem to be that old and this should never really take place. you will need to actually replace the heater box and we don't sell that part sorry
