Samsung 7kg J845 washing machine 5S error

Great website but hoping for a bit more guidance as have followed your instructions and i still get a 5S error during most cycles. Usually the cycle can be finished by justing pressing play after the error arises.The pump is functioning as it will drain during different times in the cycle . I have checked all hoses, traps and the pump and it appears to be okay with no blockages. This has has me stumped. Any ideas would be appreciated. Perhaps it could be a sensor or similar? So maybe a hard reset if this is possible.Thanks in advanceShane

Good afternoon Shane , this ​5E error is​ all to do with​ ​​pump time out procedure​. If the Samsung 7kg J845 washing machine is not able to empty in the allocated period of time by the printed circuit board then the machine will come up with this error.
I suggest you have a very close look at the pump and the impeller and also the speed it empties at. Try running it through a cycle into a bucket to make sure you have high flow coming out of it.

Washing machine has failed to drain the water 5E error

If water level frequency is still lower than the reset level frequency (25.20kHz) in 10 minutes after starting of water drain, this error will occur.

This error code is very common and can be read as being either "2E" or "5E" due to the digital display as we are often asked what either could mean, they are the same code.

This error will be released using Start/Pause button, the washing machine will restart and attempt to drain the water out again.

• Check pump filter is clear and there are no obstructions make sure the impeller turns freely.
• Check the drain hose for obstruction and sink fitting if fitted.
• Check the drain hose is not kinked.
• Check the drain pump filter and clean if required, no coins or debris.
• Check the air chamber and pressure sensor hose.
• Check drain pump electrically (test).
• Check drain pump rotor.
• Check connections to water drain pump.
