How to replace a belt on Hoover or Candy tumble dryers
Hoover and Candy tumble dryers are notoriously hard to work on, specially if you don't know how they are put together and don't have anybody to help you out and give you a few hints.
This video is on a tumble dryer that is not turning. There are only really three reason for a tumble dryer drum not to spin. First one is a complete failure of the motor or the pcb, second one is the capacitor failure and third one is you hear the motor running but the drum does not turn, indicating a snapped belt. A lot of our customers and YouTube viewers haves asked us how to change the belt on these tumble dryers, so we'll do just that even thou the belt on this machine is just fine as you'll see later in the footage.
To reach the belt you'll have to strip the front off completely, please follow the procedures on the video, slowly and methodically and you should be alright.
